Lived at the Grove 1 year, it is a fantastic deal with very few issues. Management and maintenance are both very friendly and helpful. With regards to other reviews claiming unfair charges, I am highly skeptical. I had the opposite experience, and moving out went smoothly. There are some cons, the pool is not super exciting, with no hot tub, the location is right on the loop but inconvenient to access 4th street. The furniture and interior are practical but very cheap. Probably the biggest issue: the fire alarms are actually wired to the office, so if you burn the place down, nobody is coming! When someone triggered it in the middle of the night, we ended up calling 911 after waiting upwards of 30 minutes.

my time at the grove for two years was the best! for a student apartment complex, as this was my second to live in, it was definitely a lot better than most. although safety was my biggest issue or getting my car broken into; i had to remind myself that unfortunately, you cant escape either in lubbock no matter which side of town you live on. the staff and management were always so caring, especially connor, as well as both maintenance men! i never went a week without having my issues resolved or someone communicating that it was being dealt with. if i had to live in student housing again this would be where i’d call home. i will miss it!!

This is a great place to start your life in Lubbock. If you are a student this community is the best in terms of cost-effectiveness.
